How to place and manage simulated trades

The trading workspace uses virtual funds. Follow these steps to prepare an order, understand its controls and avoid incomplete submissions.

Before opening the order ticket

  1. Select an active evaluation account.
  2. Choose the crypto market you want to view.
  3. Wait until the market connection is live and current bid and ask prices are visible.
  4. Check available trading power and the remaining account limits.

The Buy and Sell controls stay unavailable when required values or fresh market prices are missing.

Choose an order type

  • Market: submits against the current simulated market price.
  • Limit: requires a positive limit price.
  • Stop: requires a positive stop-entry price.

Quotes can differ from an external exchange because of spread, latency, interruptions or calculation methods.

Enter volume, side and leverage

Enter a positive volume within the available trading power, then choose Buy or Sell. Leverage changes required trading power but does not remove risk. Review the complete ticket before submitting it.

Add take profit, stop loss or a trailing stop

Take-profit and stop-loss prices are optional controls when enabled. A trailing stop also needs a positive distance; enabling it with an empty distance leaves the order incomplete. Check whether every protective level makes sense for the selected side and current market.

Submit once and verify the result

Submit the order once. While the request is pending, the ticket is locked to prevent duplicate Buy or Sell requests. If the service does not answer within the protected timeout, the app restores the form and shows an error instead of leaving a permanent grey overlay. Recheck live prices and inputs before trying again.

A successful order appears in the order list. Use that list to inspect status, open price, current price, simulated profit or loss, commission and configured exit controls.

Closing and reviewing trades

Use the order list for the selected account to review open and historical simulated trades. Confirm the account and trade before using a close action. A mandatory risk breach can close trades and end the account automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Why is Buy or Sell disabled?

The app needs a positive valid volume, any required entry price, a complete trailing-stop distance when enabled, fresh prices and an active account.

What should I do after an order error?

Check the connection, current prices, selected account and order values. Wait for the ticket to unlock, then submit only once. Contact support if the same validated request repeatedly fails.

Are these orders sent to a real exchange?

No. Evaluation balances, orders, profits and losses are simulated. blockfunded does not place a live market order for you.

Still need help?

Send the platform, app version, order or account reference, steps taken and visible error. Never send credentials or wallet secrets.
